South Paw Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.

Papillon Rescue ~ Pomeranian Rescue ~ Puppymill Rescue

South Paw Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a very small 501c3 non-profit animal rescue founded in 2007. We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing Papillons, Pomeranians, and puppy mill dogs, as well as unwanted small breed dogs and an occaisional kitty. We do not have an animal shelter building.... we rely strictly on foster homes. We are funded soley by charitable donations with 100% going directly to the care and medical needs of the animals we rescue. We may be a very small group, but we're accomplishing very big things! We've rescued over 400 animals in the past four years! Won't you help us to rescue more?

Please help our rescue, please donate or volunteer today!

You can help save the life of a dog suffering in a puppymill.

Your donation will help us to rescue dogs from puppymills, get them the veterinary care they need, rehabiliate them, and find them loving forever homes. Why donate to us? Because we are funded solely by donations and without you we cannot continue to rescue dogs from puppymills. 100% of all donations goes to work right away for the veterinary care and expenses of the animals we rescue. We are an all volunteer rescue. Without your help we can't rescue the dogs that need help the most.

In the last four years our small group of volunteers has rescued over 400 dogs from puppymills, abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Please donate today to help us to save ever more! We need your help and every $1 makes a difference to these precious and needy dogs.

  MISSY
Hi my name is Missy and I am an adorable little pomeranian. I was rescued when a breeder decided to go out of the business of breeding and surrendered me to rescue. I am really enjoying life now and love not having to be a breeding dog any more. Life is sure great now! I get along great with other dogs and I'd love to have a forever home with a person who would love me. My fo...read more about MISSY
  MARCIE
My name is Marcie and I am a female papillon that was rescued from a puppy mill. I might have had a rough start in life, but things are looking up now! I get along really well with the other dogs in my foster home, and I seem to do really well with the kitty cats too. I'm still learning about life outside of a puppy mill. You see there were some things I was never taught. My foster ...read more about MARCIE
  TACO
PLEASE NOTE: POTENTIAL ADOPTER MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MARLTON TO MEET TACO AND HIS FOSTER FAMILY PRIOR TO BEING APPROVED TO ADOPT HIM. Taco is quite the charming character! From Casanova to Class Clown, he's got it covered. In the few months we've had him, he's come around quickly and acts like part of the family- he does great with our dogs, but still seems a bit aggressive with our kitty-...read more about TACO
  SMOKEY
My name is Smokey! I'm just getting settled in, but so far I am a very happy boy. My foster mom says I am sweet and friendly and appear to be housetrained. I wasn't treated all that great in my previous home. I spent quite a lot of time locked in the dark with just my bowl of water and food. A family member of my former owner arranged for me to come to South Paw Rescue so that I cou...read more about SMOKEY
